Maulana Shabir Ahmed Usmani refused,like all others maulvis to recite the Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer) of Quaid-e-Azam. He single-handedly partitioned India,the motherland.
Until he saw the Prophet (pbuh) in his dream,with his hand on Quaid's shoulder,saying "He is my mujahid." (martyr)
A man runs wildly around,looking and searching.Someone asks,"what is it?"
"Where is Iqbal?" He says.
Iqbal just died,he's told.
He sits down and cries.
He is asked again,"what is it?"
"The Holy Prophet(pbuh) came in my dream and he won't lead a prayer and people ask why.And he replied,"Muhammd Iqbal isn't here yet." "
I don't know about anybody else, but when my grandfather left all his land and walked across the border,with the corpse of his past on his shoulder,he did it for Islam.
So did everyone who made the earth reverberate with the shouts of
"Pakistan ka matlab kya,la ilaha illalah"
So much for secularism.
